Who am I?
I'm Mariah the founder of Intimate Harmony Coaching and Consulting, a space created for people who want to understand themselves, their relationships, and their intimate lives with greater clarity and intention. My work lives at the intersection of intimacy, relationships, sexuality, self trust, communication, and personal growth.
My background is in Marriage and Family Therapy, sex/intimacy coaching, and kink/BDSM informed education, which informs the relational and sex positive- approach I bring to this work.
People need a space to slow down and get honest about what you want, because, sometimes the question isn't "What's wrong with me?" It's: What do I actually want? Why do I keep having the same conversations? How do I communicate what I need? What happens when the person I've become doesn't fit the relationship patterns I've outgrown? Those are the conversations I love creating space for.
Approach & Philosophy
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in emotional awareness.
Believing that every person’s story is unique, I tailor sessions to each of your needs. I integrate evidence-based techniques with a modern, holistic perspective, guiding you toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and balance.
My role isn't to tell you what you or your relationship with intimacy should look like, it's to help you get clear about what you want, communicate it more effectively, and make choices that align with you. I am curious, direct, nonjudgmental, and practical.
Credentials
I am a post graduate marriage and family therapist (Capella University) with extensive training in evidence-based practices. I am also a certified sexologist/coach (Sexual Health Alliance).
I have experience with Kink and BDSM and have experience working with individuals, couples, and ENM partners (Sexual Health Alliance) across a variety of settings.
Intimate Harmony Coaching and Consulting provides coaching, education, and consulting, not psychotherapy. While my clinical background informs my approach, coaching is a separate service focused on reflection, education, skill building, and personal growth.
